Buses stop running around sunset. Don't rely on them for late-night transport back to your hotel after dinner.
The first bus of the day (usually 08:30 or 09:00) is the best way to get to the Acropolis before the cruise ship crowds arrive.
Highly recommended for July-August and Easter week.
Archaeological sites are free on certain days (like the first Sunday of winter months), but the bus still requires a ticket.
